新城の名に相応しくかなり城域は広く、周囲は切岸と腰郭が明確に遺る。かなりの人数を収容できる広さがある。出城から降りてくると、尾根の左手を堀落として狭くした虎口がある。土塁が無いのは後世に削られたのだろうか。
