★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 築城年代は不明ですが、北条氏が伊豆に侵攻し領国化した時期には存在したと思われ、天正4年(1576年)頃北条氏の家臣である大石越後守が守備していたが、豊臣秀吉の小田原攻めに際し退去、以降廃城となったと云われています。
平時の館は、本能寺の境内に在ったと云われ、東に鷲巣山、北に出城、南に詰城が築かれ、海上の防備陸上の根拠地として築かれた要害の地であった事から、北条氏の重要な城であったと思われます。
 The age of the castle is unknown, but it seems that it existed when Hojo invaded Izu and became a territory, and was defended by Hojo's vassal, Oishi Echigomori, around 1576. It is said that Toyotomi Hideyoshi moved out when he attacked Odawara, and since then the castle has been abandoned.
It is said that the normal hall was located in the precincts of Honnoji Temple, because it was a fortified area with Mt. Washisu in the east, a castle in the north, and a castle in the south. It seems that it was an important castle of Mr. Hojo.
