G	G R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 土曜の夜に伺いましたが、予約必須ですが、予約は私たちだけでした。大座敷ではなく個室に通されましたが、夜は比較的空いているのでしょうか。食事内容は郷土料理ですが、懐石のようにコース仕立てとなっています。 7,000円のコースでしたが品数多く、お腹もいっぱいになるものでした。通常想像する雪国の塩気の強い料理かと思ったら、上品で薄味、繊細さの光る内容でした。出汁を重視したそのスタンスは、まるで京料理をいただいているかのようでした。そしてやはり特筆すべきはご飯のおいしさです。締めに枝豆ご飯が出てまいりましたが、もういくらでも食べたくなる味でした。こんなにご飯が美味しいのだから、白米も味わってほしいです。白米を締めとは言わず食事中に横に添えておきたいくらいです。お願いしたら出してくれると思いますので聞いてみてください。また佇まいも素晴らしいです。今の技術ではもう建てられないような立派な母屋は、思わず見上げてしまうほど立派で、よく手入れが行き届いております。なかなかこういう場所で食事をする機会は無いのではないでしょうか？個室からは庭が望め、名前の由来にもなっている欅の巨木が眺められます。一説には樹齢は1500年らしく、国内の巨木でも屈指の銘木にあたります。ツリーハガーの方は必見です。ただ場所も考えるとやや割高感はありますね。 I visited on Saturday night and it was mandatory to make a reservation, but we were the only one to make a reservation.
