★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 土曜の夜に伺いましたが、予約必須ですが、予約は私たちだけでした。大座敷ではなく個室に通されましたが、夜は比較的空いているのでしょうか。
食事内容は郷土料理ですが、懐石のようにコース仕立てとなっています。
7,000円のコースでしたが品数多く、お腹もいっぱいになるものでした。
通常想像する雪国の塩気の強い料理かと思ったら、上品で薄味、繊細さの光る内容でした。出汁を重視したそのスタンスは、まるで京料理をいただいているかのようでした。
そしてやはり特筆すべきはご飯のおいしさです。締めに枝豆ご飯が出てまいりましたが、もういくらでも食べたくなる味でした。こんなにご飯が美味しいのだから、白米も味わってほしいです。白米を締めとは言わず食事中に横に添えておきたいくらいです。お願いしたら出してくれると思いますので聞いてみてください。
また佇まいも素晴らしいです。今の技術ではもう建てられないような立派な母屋は、思わず見上げてしまうほど立派で、よく手入れが行き届いております。なかなかこういう場所で食事をする機会は無いのではないでしょうか?
個室からは庭が望め、名前の由来にもなっている欅の巨木が眺められます。一説には樹齢は1500年らしく、国内の巨木でも屈指の銘木にあたります。ツリーハガーの方は必見です。
ただ場所も考えるとやや割高感はありますね。

And what should be noted is the deliciousness of the rice. Edamame rice came out at the end, but it was a taste that I wanted to eat as much as I wanted. Since the rice is so delicious, I want you to taste the white rice as well. I don't mean to tighten the white rice, but I want to add it to the side during the meal. If you ask, I'll give it to you, so please ask.
The appearance is also wonderful. The magnificent main building, which cannot be built with the current technology, is so magnificent that you can look up at it and it is well maintained. Isn't it hard to have a chance to eat in such a place?
From the private room, you can see the garden and the giant zelkova tree, which is the origin of the name. According to one theory, the age of the tree seems to be 1500 years, and it is one of the most famous trees in Japan. This is a must-see for tree huggers.
However, considering the location, it feels a little expensive.

一品・一品は素朴なものが多いのですが、どれも一工夫されてますねー
特にがんもどきとセリご飯が絶品だったなー
田舎ならではの温かいおもてなしもあり映えのオシャレなお店でオシャレなコースも良いけど、こういう素朴なのも良いなーって思いますね。
食とはかくあるべきみたいなね?

新潟の里山料理が食べられる名店。料理に使われるお野菜はその殆どが自家栽培のもの。
最後のお食事は、予約時に事前に伝えておくと白ご飯への変更も可能とのこと。
樹齢1,000年を超える欅の木のほとりに立つ見事な茅葺き屋根の建物は、雪深い新潟の生活を随所に感じることができる。女将さんに尋ねると料理のことはもちろんのこと、建築物の維持や生活の知恵、冬の新潟など、さまざまな話を懇切丁寧に語ってくれる。
多くの人からオススメされましたが、訪れて本当に良かったと思える名店です。
