★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022.4 国9から県4を香住方面に向かうと尾白橋があり付近の県道路肩が広いので寄せられます。橋から右岸を進み途中倒れた竹がひどく行きは沢を歩きましたが長靴程度で危険な箇所も無く5分で着きました。お手軽に訪問できる割にきれいな滝でした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 600m級の山脈の谷に道路と街が出来ているが、道路沿いに5~20m級の滝が沢山あるのは山が急斜面で花こう岩の岩肌で出来ているからなのだろうか？ こちらの「尾白の滝」も岩が削られて円すい型の滝壺になっている。県道4号線沿いから山の奥へと150m進むと現れる。今回は積雪があり、沢を上ったが・・深みにはまり冷たい思いをした。従来なら簡単にたどり着ける距離だと思う。但馬地方の滝を観ていると、水流で長い歳月をかけてスリムでしなやかな流れの滝が多いと感じた。「女郎滝」に雰囲気が似ている。丸い円柱の空間が出来ている。
