★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 敷地が広大でから子供を遊ばせるのには最高の場所ですが駐車スペースが無いから車で来ると路駐成るので周りにお住いの方の迷惑に成ります。

ひたちなか市内に整備された約280（2019年現在）の公園のうち、ここ勝田第三中学区にある49の公園のうちのひとつ。
向野シリーズの末弟と思われ、公園銘板もほかで見ない独特の銘板が設置されています。加えて他の向野兄弟には無い複合大型遊具に合わせて、ブランコ、鉄棒、東屋、ひろーい広場も備えているため、その充実度は他を大きく引き離しています。
惜しむらくは、この規模であればトイレを設置してほしかったな、と。
