★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々はJR和歌山線の吉野口駅からここまで軽便鉄道という線があったそうで、当時のプラットフォームの石垣が今でも遺っているようです。
 Originally, there seemed to be a light rail line from Yoshinoguchi Station on the JR Wakayama Line so far, and it seems that the stone wall of the platform at that time still remains.

無人駅でもいいのでは？って思いましたが、特急もとまるのにびっくりした
ちっちゃい駅でも、一応駅員さん居るんでしょうね
でも暇すぎて逆に地獄のように思えました。
私の勝手な感想でした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さな車庫があるだけで辺りには何もありません。にもかかわらず特急を含む全列車が停車します。多分待避線としての役割を主として果たしている駅なのでしょう。
There is nothing around there just a small garage. Nevertheless, all trains including the limited express will stop. Perhaps it is a station that mainly plays the role of a siding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 吉野鉄道が開業したときにはここが吉野駅で、車庫になっている東側が当初の駅所在地だった。
ダイヤの関係で吉野行き(各停)は交換待ちが２本続く。
すぐとなりを国道169号線が走っており、厳密には駐車スペースは存在しない。
When Yoshino Railway opened, this was Yoshino Station, and the east side where the garage is located was the original station location.
Due to the relationship between diamonds, there will be two pending exchanges for Yoshino (each stop).
As soon as National Route 169 runs, there is no parking space strictly.

伊勢中川〜東方面へは、すぐ乗りたくても、六田駅から購入できないのでご注意を。
京都方面は大丈夫みたいです。
定期券は6〜23時、特急券は5:30〜23:20まで購入可能です。
From November 2019, limited express tickets can only be purchased at vending machines.
Note that if you want to get on the Ise-Nakagawa-East direction right away, you will not be able to purchase from Mutta Station.
The Kyoto area looks fine.
Commuter passes can be purchased from 6:00 to 23:00, and limited express tickets can be purchased from 5:30 to 23:20.
