仁王門から本堂そして五重の塔を見ると感動します。
草鞋の門が仁王様の門とは別にあります。
お寺の風格と凛とした空気がある素敵なお寺様でした。

行き届いた境内に心が穏やかになる。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ご本尊は馬頭観音さま。四国札所でもここだけのご本尊です。また四国札所でも四か寺しかない五重塔をもった寺院です。明治の末に完成したという現存の塔は、私が十年ほど前歩いて回ったときは、かなり傷んでいましたが、2015年から大規模な解体修理が行われていましたが、2019年春に完成しとても美しい姿を見せてくれています。納経所では、三途の川の渡し賃という六文銭があって、私も求めました。年末にお参りすると、宝来などと呼ばれる切り紙があります。

It is also a temple with a five-storied pagoda, which has only four temples in Shikoku Fudasho. At the delivery office, there was a six-monk coin called the Sanzu River ferry, and I asked for it. When you visit at the end of the year, there is a kirigami called Horai.

大修復の予定があるそうで、その前の特別見学会がありました。
明治に再建立してすでに百年経過してるのですが、どこを修復するのかと思うぐらい、立派な五重塔です。
