一匹ヤギがいました。
喫茶店があり、ホットサンドが名物みたいです。味はカリッとしてて、噛めば噛むほど小麦粉の旨さを感じる食パンとこぼれる量の野菜と鶏肉でした。ちょっとお洒落でセレブな方のブランチの場所そんな感じです。
私にはちょっぴりハードルが高かったです(笑)。でもまた食べたいです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ キャンプ場としてはテントは貼れないが、バンガローみたいな建物を借りて寝泊まり出来る。管理人もおり、衛生的だが5-10人程度が利用する上で良いだろう。
キャンプ場内ではCafeがあり、サンドとコーヒーが楽しめる

が、それでも夏にはさぞかし緑の美しかろうと思われる景色でした。冬は冬で、雪景色を見ながらのキャンプもよさそうに見えたのですが。まぁ、仕方ないので、オープンを待つことにします。

2年前の「令和元年東日本台風」より前のことになりますが、カフェで、サンドイッチをテイクアウト用に作ってもらうようお願いして、できあがりを待つ間、キャンプ場を30分ほど散策しました。
センターの人に案内されて、ホール(礼拝堂)などを見学するカップルの姿がありました。キャンプ場にはチャペルもあったので、結婚式の下見をしていたのだと思います。キャンプだけでなく、合宿や研修など様々のイベントもできるように施設が整えられていました。
東日本大震災(2011年)では、大きな被害を被りながらも、1万5千人ものボランティアの滞在拠点になったそうです。その後、大規模な改修工事を経て、今の姿に生まれ変わったのが2016年のことのようです。
