★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 善光寺は天台宗の「大勧進」と浄土宗の「大本願」によって運営される寺院で、こちらの文殊堂は善光寺の本堂へ多くの参詣者を迎える仁王門の手前左側にあり、大本願の敷地内に建立されています。
大本願は、善光寺の創建とともに歴史を重ねる尼僧(女性の僧侶)寺院で、代々の大本願住職である尼公上人が善光寺上人として伝統を継承されています。
この文殊堂は、知恵を司る文殊菩薩と人々の幸せを願う普賢菩薩が祀られていて、学生の受験時期には合格祈願に大勢の方がお詣りしているのが分かります。
お堂の前の賽銭箱に賽銭を入れ、お詣りをしたら小さなお札が出前に置かれていますのでありがたく頂戴しましょう。
頒布所が文殊堂のすぐ右隣にありますので、合格祈願や学業成就などのお守りを授かることが出来ます。

This Bunsudo temple is dedicated to the Buddha Buddha who controls wisdom and the Fugen Bodhisattva who wishes the happiness of the people, and it can be seen that many students are praying for a pass during the examination period of the students.
Put a donation in the donation box in front of the temple, and if you pay a tribute, a small bill will be placed in front of the temple, so thank you.
There is a distribution center right next to the Monju temple, so you can receive a prayer for success or amulet for academic achievement.
