★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amanohashidate (天橋立) is a pine covered sandbar that spans the mouth of Miyazu Bay in the scenic, coastal region of northern Kyoto Prefecture. Viewed from the mountains at either end of the bay, the Amanohashidate Sandbar (which roughly translates to "bridge in heaven") looks like a pathway between heaven and earth. The scene has been admired for centuries and is ranked among Japan's three most scenic views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Again very crowded on 30th April 19 , but the view from the top is very nice , amanohashidate has a place in Japanese school study also , so definitely to be once in a life time place if you’re in Japan .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful sight seeing. They have have chair lifts or mono trail to take you to the top amusement park. The funny thing with the chair lift is that they don’t have safety belt or some sort to secure you on the chair. So if you are worried, then mono trail is your best bet to go up.
