★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新潟県の宮内駅に行きましたが、特に何もある訳ではなかったですね。近くに食堂があったぐらいで特にメインっていうわけではないですね。ただ単に静かな所だった。
 I went to Miyauchi station in Niigata prefecture, but there was nothing in particular. There was a dining room nearby, so it's not the main one. It was just a quiet place.

エレベーター&エスカレーターありません。
良い点は自転車で東西に行き来できるようにはされています。
Barrier-free almost none
There is no elevator & escalator.
The good thing is that you can cycle from east to west.

上越線と信越本線の分岐の駅で､やはり駅前は寂しい感じで､コレと言って特にない感じかな？
でも駅前は長岡が近いのもあってかそこまで寂しくもないか？？(どっちだよって感じだよな(^_^;))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いい感じの佇まいの駅ですが、階段や通路の掃除が行き届いておらず、階段通路にホコリの山。コインロッカーがあるか聞いたら、「ありません」と言って目をそらす。摂田屋散歩の最寄り駅だが、お客様を迎える準備はありません。寂れた駅の寂れた駅員。
The station has a nice appearance, but the stairs and passages are not well cleaned, and there is a mountain of dust on the stairs passage. When asked if there is a coin locker, say "no" and look away. It's the closest station to the Settaya walk, but we're not ready to welcome you. A lonely station employee at a lonely station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日中は1時間に2本長岡行きがあるのですが、間隔が近すぎて1本とあまり変わりません。
ただ7時台は5本設定されていて、便利だと思いました。
スイカの利用条件が特殊です。
There are two trains bound for Nagaoka every hour during the day, but the intervals are so close that it is not much different from one.
However, I thought it was convenient because 5 lines were set at 7 o'clock.
