ここの駅員さんには、電車とか切符に関する質問以外はしない方が良いと思います。

バス乗り場からは高速バス京都八条口行きも出ています。昔はトーマス電車が走っていました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最近引っ越してしました。駅前はわりと色々ありますね。スーパーや飲食店、銀行、コンビニ等など。少し歩けば郵便局、市役所もあります。
生活する上では不便は感じません。そしてのどかで良い町です。

一応駅員配置時間帯であっても、いつ来ても奥でさぼってるような様子。
また、最終電車の時は大声で「寒い～」とか駅横のセブンイレブン迄聞こえるような声で叫んでる。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京阪 特Qバス があり、便利。京都駅まで50分程度で、乗り換え無しで行ける。東京からの帰省の際には往復で重宝してます。
There is Keihan special Q bus and is convenient. It takes about 50 minutes to Kyoto Station without any transfer. When returning home from Tokyo, it is useful in a round trip.
