★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いつもは通り過ぎてしまう場所ですが立ち寄ってみました。句碑の説明文を読み、階段上の広場に行けば海を眺める事ができます。
 I usually pass by, but I stopped by. If you read the explanation of the monument and go to the square on the stairs, you can see the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 田原市伊良湖町宮下の国道２５９号線沿いに〔芭蕉句碑園地〕と呼ばれる小公園がある。入ると正面にどっかりと芭蕉句碑。
鷹ひとつ見つけてうれしいらこ崎
貞享４年、〔笈の小文〕の旅で、愛弟子〔杜国〕に会えた喜びを詠んだ句。
公園北側の岩の上に〔芭蕉翁之碑〕が立っている。
鷹ひとつ見つけてうれし伊良虞崎
碑の詳細を見たかったが、碑までの道は草木が生い茂り、とてもたどり着ける状況ではなかった。せっかくの碑でもあり、せめて周囲の草木を取り除くなど考えて欲しいもの（手間の掛かることではあるが・・）。
〔伊良虞崎〕の〔虞〕について、地元の人と話しているときに、現在は〔湖〕の字が当てられているが、これでは海ではなくて湖と勘違いされるとの意見を聞いた。神社などでも〔虞〕を使っているようで、おそらく昔は、この字を使っていたのだろう。
（令和元年５月２９日追記：昨日、伊良湖を旅している友人からメールが届き、芭蕉句碑周辺が整備され〔芭蕉翁之碑〕が見えるようになっているという。近々写真を整理して送るとのことであった。）
There is a small park called "Shinpakuen Park" along National Route 259, Irako-cho, Tahara-shi Irako-cho. When it enters, it is a memorial monument in front.

I wanted to see the details of the monument, but the road to the monument was full of plants and trees and was not very accessible. It is also a monument of great care, and I want you to think about removing surrounding plants and plants at the very least (though it takes time and effort).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いつも車で前を通って気になっていたので仕事帰りに立ち寄りました。シーサイドゴルフ倶楽部とR259を挟んで向かい側に5台程の駐車場が有り、判りにくいけれど石碑奥の階段を上がると公園が有り、東屋やテーブル、ベンチも有ります。但し、トイレは見当たりませんでしたが石碑の横に俳句の投稿箱が設置されており今月の秀句として15句張り出されておりました。
I was always worried about passing by car so I stopped by after work. There are about 5 parking lots on the opposite side of the Seaside Golf Club and R259, and although it is hard to see, there is a park when you go up the stairs at the back of the stone monument, and there are arbor, table and bench. However, I couldn't find a toilet, but a post box for haiku was set up next to the stone monument, and 15 phrases were put out as an excellent phrase for this month.
