I happened to return home playing with my friends at Ushigome Kagurazaka on that day. The receptionist was also very friendly and showed me the Michio Miyagi document CD. I'm satisfied!

It is a memorial of Michio Miyagi who is very famous in the world of Japanese music in a quiet residential area. In the hall, Miyagi's background and related objects are on display. Among them, Ot-tenraku, which is the bowl that he used regularly, and the eighty-nine, which he invented, are a sight to see. Because this place was where he lived and lived, the study also remains as "between the schools." In the Japanese-style room of 6 mats, a rose is laid quietly, and you can make your thoughts flow around his life. On the side of the building there is also a bronze statue that can be seen. Occasional concerts and lectures are held at the memorial hall, providing an opportunity to soak in the world of Japanese peace loved by Michio Miyagi.

Introduced in "Ariyoshi-kun no Honest Sanpo", I learned that he was the composer of "Haru no Umi", which is often played in the New Year, and I thought he was a great man suitable for the New Year.

Located in a calm residential area, it is less crowded and you can take a leisurely look around. It is a memorial hall where you can take a break while taking a walk in Kagurazaka or eating. I especially like the atmosphere of the garden.

I entered the side road of Zenkokuji Temple. (Photo) I wonder if this area was where Kyoka Izumi and Hakushu Kitahara lived. If you go a little, you will see the information bulletin board at the Miyagi Michio Memorial Hall. (Photo I've heard the name of Michio Miyagi, but I don't know what kind of person it is. Let's go. This is like a memorial hall. (Photo) Pamphlet of the memorial hall. (Photo) There was only a memorial hall, and there was a notice about Michio Miyagi's life and an exhibition of koto and daily necessities. There were several other meeting rooms, and it seems that the people involved were gathering and talking. Michio Miyagi was the composer of "Spring Sea". I remember studying Michio Miyagi in class when I was in elementary school. At the age of eight, he became totally blind and entered the path of Japanese music, and was a very respectable person who ended his life as a master of Japanese music due to a mysterious MICHIBIKI. The "school inspection room" is preserved in the garden. This place is where Michio Miyagi lived until his later years, and retains the atmosphere of that time.

The Miyagi Michio Memorial Hall, which opened on Dec. 6, 1978, was created to honor Miyagi’s great accomplishments as well as to contribute to the future development of Japanese music. It was built on the site where Miyagi lived in his later years and is the first Memorial Hall in Japan to honor a musician. Visitors can enjoy the world of Miyagi Michio through CDs, DVDs, and exhibits.
