よく整備された遊歩道で、楽に散策が出来ます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 那珂川町小川 三輪神社の裏に時期には一面に花を咲かせます。車イスでも散策できるように整備されています。勾配での操作は十分に気をつけて。毎年きれいな花を咲かせてくれるのは年間通して整備される保存会の皆様のお陰です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雨の平日午後、誰もいない駐車場に料金も払わず止めて一周してまいりました。全体的に山の斜面が群生地で、そのため一周は軽い山歩きです。木道や観覧用腰掛、坂には手摺、ロープあり、心遣い満点で実によく手入れの行き届いた観光用群生地です。ただ「順路」に沿って歩き出た先が普通の道で案内無し。感でなんとか元駐車場に戻りました。迷った？かも

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関東最大のカタクリの花が観れます。カタクリの生息群が関東最大級です。季節は3月中旬過ぎから4月上旬まで見れます。カタクリの季節だけは駐車場代で500円払う形になります。カタクリの季節以外は無料です。カタクリの季節には売店があってニホンザクラが売っていたりします。カタクリ以外にも水芭蕉も観れるので、水芭蕉を観に行くのも手かとは思います。カタクリ山公園となっていて山全体が公園となっているので、歩く以外に多少のアップダウンはあります。山の高さは標高165mなので決して高い山ではありませんが、全く体力に自信のない方は無理をしないことをオススメします。軽い運動になりますので、自分はその点をプラスに捉えています。

It is a light exercise, so I take that point positively.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ よく手入れされた山です。カタクリは盛りを2、3日過ぎた雨模様の日にいったので閉じた花が多く残念でしたが、晴れたらさぞ見事でしょうね〜。
カタクリと同時期にショウジョウバカマの群生も見られます。ザゼンソウは二月だそうです。
頂上はちょっとした広場になっています。
