美都温泉から5分、狭い道の外れにポツンと立ってました?
駐車場から記念館迄は、かねりの急勾配を上がらなくてはなりません?でも戸を開けて中に入ると別世界でした?
写真、いきさつ、音声アナウンスが丁寧に説明してくれました?
ちょっときついけど、ぜひ一度行ってみて下さい?
石号の石碑、何処に石の文字があるか探してみて下さい?

5 minutes from Mito Onsen, I stood on the edge of a narrow road ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 柴犬の祖犬にあたる「石号」という犬の記念館ですが記念館にしては展示物等を含めて寂しい感じを受けました。
同時に昨今の柴犬(豆柴含)ブーム、ひいては秋田犬等の日本犬が見直されている中、もっと評価されてもいいのではとも感じました。記念館前の石号の石像は中々です。
It is a memorial hall for dogs called "Ishigo", which is the grand dog of Shiba Inu, but for the memorial hall, I felt lonely including the exhibits.
At the same time, as the recent boom in Shiba Inu (including Mameshiba) and Japanese dogs such as Akita Inu are being reviewed, I felt that it would be better to be evaluated more. The stone statue of the stone number in front of the memorial hall is medium.

質素ではありますが、柴犬60万頭とも言われている祖犬の石州犬の歴史が分かりやすくまとめられています。
石像には「石」の隠し文字があるそうですが発見出来ず、、
