I had been worried about it for a long time, but this time I had a halfway time and went there. I took you to Googlemap, but is it really in such a place? It's a place you can think of. When I parked my car in the parking lot, I was practicing baseball on the ground in front of me. The permanent exhibition of 300 yen is 200 yen with a JAF discount. An interactive exhibition called the Global Family Conference for about 20 minutes? I participated in. In front of the large shark specimen, a very detailed person explained. The view from the library is wonderful. It doesn't have to be crowded. There was an interesting exhibition in the exhibition room, but unfortunately I don't have time, so I will come back when I have more time.

It is easy to understand that humans misunderstand that they dominate the earth. The electric power company is building a breakwater with a height of 10 meters based on the lessons learned from the Great East Japan Earthquake, because it does not coexist and co-prosper with all plants, insects, fish, and reptiles. Because the sky is 100 kilometers free People who are aware that 10 kg is one tenth are being paid for the luck that came freely

A museum that has been remodeled from a closed school. Various specimens that look like they are in a picture book are displayed in a narrow space. I thought it was a "museum". In addition, how the geographical factor of Shizuoka is related to the environment and nature is classified and exhibited according to the environment such as the sea, land, and forest. The curators are also enthusiastic and explain various things. One thing that was disappointing was that the regular exhibition was so wonderful that the special exhibition was a little overwhelming.

~~ Outline of the exhibition ~~ A wide range of permanent exhibits on nature and the global environment, including topography, animals, insects, fish, dinosaurs, and natives. I can see it all the time. You can think about the relationship between humans and nature, such as the self-sufficiency rate of food and energy, and changes in the population. ~~ Concept Book ~~ Others recommended the concept book in the review, so I bought it. You can roughly look back on the contents of the permanent exhibition. Propagation materials. High satisfaction. There is no parking fee and the admission fee is cheap, so I think it's okay to spend 500 yen on the concept book. ~~ Special Exhibition ~~ If you are interested in the contents of the special exhibition, you should see it. This time, the content was not of interest to me, and it was subtle to think that it would cost the same amount as the permanent exhibition even though the volume was relatively insufficient. ~~ Kids Room and Cafe ~~ Preschoolers may find it difficult because the exhibits are in a position where they can be easily touched. (→ I took him 4 years old. In my case, I wanted to play in the kids room, but it was difficult to enjoy the museum. It may be better if I was a little younger or from elementary school age.) The kids' room can be easily reserved from a smartphone by reservation, and it seems that it is possible to enter from 10:00 to 16:00 until 17:00. There were a lot of wooden toys and I enjoyed playing. The last order for the cafe is 16:30. Tickets are not required to use the kids room and cafe, and tickets can be confirmed in the corridor near the exhibition room. ~~ Toilet ~~ Since it was originally a school, it is everywhere. Very beautiful with warm water toilet seat, baby chair and ostomate.

A natural history museum in Shizuoka prefecture that utilizes the site of Shizuoka Minami High School as it is. I like the permanent exhibition because it is stylish. However, it is not enough for a museum. I wonder if I have expanded the genre too much for the scale. So what is it after all? Also, I think there are few captions for each exhibition. There is a staff member in each room who gives a brief explanation when you enter the room, but this is important. I want to see the exhibition at my own pace, so please leave a caption. I bought a concept book (500 yen) at the shop and read it after I got home, but I wanted to read it while walking in the hall! If you are going to Mu, I recommend you to buy a concept book with your ticket. I am satisfied with the quality of the audio guide, even if it is charged. Open the web page of the QR destination on your smartphone and listen to the explanation. Don't forget that earphones are essential. I don't usually use earphones, so I didn't have them, so I put them on my ears and listened. You can pay for it, so please rent out audio guide equipment like a museum. Contrary to such good hardware, the quality of the staff is poor. The usher is standing in the corridor, maybe he's free, and he can't take over well, so the explanation that we aren't asking for begins. The ultimate meaning is unknown to the teacher called the interpreter in Exhibition Room 9. Mysterious questions and stories go here and there and I don't understand. What did you want to do after all? I wasted 20 minutes. The special exhibition is about one-fifth the exhibition space of the permanent exhibition. The contents and method of the exhibition are "What? What should I do at the museum?" Isn't this a special exhibition of 600 yen too expensive? If you go, the permanent exhibition is enough. If you are a JAF member, it will be 200 yen. The view of the cafe is good, so it's a good idea to visit once. Coffee is priced at a reasonable price of 200 yen or less. It is a difficult place to reach unless you are driving. If access is good, such as near the station, there would have been demand for tourists from outside the prefecture, but it's a shame.

Cool little natural history museum that used to be a high school. Not worth going out of your way to see though.

Good place to play with Kids. For small kids, play room is useful. For school kids, library cafe and exhibitions are good to learn about geography.
