J	Jハードラー on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 水戸城本丸跡に移築復元されているのが数少ない水戸城の遺構、薬医門。切妻造、茅葺風銅板葺きの薬医門の建築された年代は定かでありませんが、戦国時代末期、佐竹義重・義宣父子の水戸城居城時代、つまりは豊臣秀吉の小田原征伐以降、関ヶ原の合戦以前に建てられたものと推測されています。この門の旧位置については、形式と規模そして風格からみて、本丸橋詰門とするのが適当と思われます。明治20年（1887）頃と昭和19年（1944）の2回、水戸市内で所在を変えて移築されましたが、昭和56年（1981）に、水戸城本丸跡地である県立水戸第一高等学校敷地内（旧位置近く）に移築復元されました。 The remains of Mito Castle, the Yakui Gate, which is rarely relocated and restored to the site of the Mito Castle Honmaru. I searched for it but couldn't find anything except some old stones. Also the people inside the school will stare at you with suspicious eyes, you better leave quickly after taking some pictures before they call the police...
