 I don't know about the Tenranki monument, but it was a cool monument!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 全く目立たない場所に鎮座しているため、水戸市民ですらその存在は知らないのでは。しかも説明書きも見あたらないので意味が分からず通り過ぎるだけの気がします。ネットで調べてようやく昭和4年における陸軍特別演習の天覧記念だと分かりました。
Because it is enshrined in an inconspicuous place, even Mito citizens do not know its existence. Moreover, I don't see any explanations, so I don't understand the meaning and I just feel like passing. I finally found out from the internet that it was a memorial to the special exercise of the army in 1964.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 公爵一橋水戸様が訪れた場所には間違いなく、何があるのと問われると碑があるだけ!ジモティーは税金の無駄遣いだけど、旅行者には学校だらけに多少の光がさす感じ。
There is no doubt that there is a monument in the place where Duke Hitotsubashi Mito-sama visited, and there is a monument when asked what is there! Jimotei is a waste of tax, but tourists feel a little light full of school.
