★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place for seeing autumn red leaves, but during Corona outbreak you should go in early morning to avoid tons of travellers.
There is a paid parking lot nearby that's quite big capacity, from the parking lot takes only few minutes walk to the falls.

The road to the falls are closed because of the landslide but the hiking trail is definitely worth it because of the view! There's a hiking trail to Katsuo-ji Temple but because of limited time, went there by another way. Will definitely try someday! Best time to visit is Autumn season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy stroll up a paved walkway to the impressive Mino'o falls. About a 20 minute walk from the mino'o station on Hankyu mino'o line. If you are lucky you will see the wild red-faced monkeys. They come around seeking tourist food. DON'T FEED THEM. It is a nice easy hike but there are many challenging side trails. Very worth the trip. There is an onsen hotspring hotel down below near the train station

It takes about an hour to get to the waterfall but there are 2ways to go and one of them is paved road so it's not too much, but if you like you can take the mountain way (which I didn't take but heard it's lots of ups and downs and challenging). It has become one of my best fav place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great 2.2 I'm hike and a nice payoff at the end. If lucky you might experience the wild monkeys as I did on this day. He even stole a water bottle too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trek to the falls is quite spacious and paved, but it still takes time. I took around 30 minutes one way. The path is adjacent to the river, so the sounds from the flowing water soothes your tiredness when walking. The falls itself is quite large and there are a few camera spots and a viewing space at the side with benches. I think it is better to ho there at night especially if there is an illumination ongoing. The view with the lights is simply breathtaking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ beautiful place to visit. from the the parking lot you'll need to walk for about 10-15mins there's a stall for some foods . A chair to seat on while enjoying the view of the waterfalls .
