★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a 5 star dining but they are not trying to be. Very avarage, reasonably priced that does the job nicely. Open all afternoon so late lunches are no problem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a common type of restaurant in the site seeing area. Service and food being not great but ok level, and bit pricy as most tourists would expect. I tried the kaisen-don. Miso soup cup and rice bowl had seaweed and rice sticking outside the dish. 1 piece of pumpkin and bit of pickles were on sides. As for the taste, nothing surprising but I wish the rice was a sushi rice. I'm still thankful that they are open throughout the year, not just the on-season. Be sure to carry a cash and not a card.
