M	M N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここは廃城となっていた所に小牧長久手の合戦での家康方の城として有った様です。此処より北側 300～400メートル先にも徳川方の城跡《砦跡とおもわれる》の碑が残る。 It seems that this was a castle of Ieyasu in the battle of Komaki Nagakute in the place where it was abandoned. 2	2666 10993 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南外山城は堀尾孫助の居城で、この八幡社を含む範囲にあったが、正中年間(1324年~1325年)にはすでに廃城となっていた城と伝わる。その規模、構造などについては伝わっておらず不明であったが、近年この周辺で行われた区画整理事業に伴う発掘調査により、徐々に明らかになってきている。調査では、城の北辺、南辺、西辺にあたる堀が部分的ではあるが確認されている。堀は幅4m程で、その内側では敷地を区画する溝、掘立柱建物を構成していたとみられる多くの柱穴、井戸などが見つかっている。また、山茶碗、すり鉢、壷などの陶器素焼きの皿や鍋、漆碗、木製の下駄など城があった当時に使われていた生活品が出土している。 Nangai Yamashiro is the residence of Sonsuke Horio, and although it was within the range including this Hachiman shrine, it is said that it was already abandoned during the mid-year (1324-1325). The scale and structure of the land were not known and were unknown, but it has been gradually clarified by the excavation survey conducted in recent years in connection with the land readjustment project. Surveys have confirmed, albeit partially, moats on the north, south, and west sides of the castle. The moat is about 4 m wide, and inside it, trenches that divide the site, many postholes that are thought to have constituted the excavated pillar building, and wells have been found. In addition, pottery unglazed plates and pots such as mountain tea bowls, mortars, and jars, lacquer bowls, wooden clogs, and other daily necessities used at the time of the castle have been excavated.
