M	Moritaka YAMADA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通り沿いにひっそりとあります。城跡と言っても、石垣やら櫓がある訳ではないです。むしろ、岩倉城跡の石碑がないと、此処が城跡だなんてわからないくらいです。 It's quietly along the street. 赤	赤だるま on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 他の方の投稿にある様に城跡としての見所は有りませんが道を挟んでトイレがあるので、休憩しながら説明看板を読み、雰囲気を感じるのが良いと思います。また、現在も発掘中の箇所があるので将来的には評価が変わる発見があることを期待します。 There is no highlight as a castle ruin as posted by other people, but there is a toilet across the road, so I think it is good to read the explanation signboard while taking a break and feel the atmosphere. ラ	ラッコ男爵 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 岩倉織田氏の居城。城マニアにはいいかも✨ 大通りの傍らのに「岩倉城跡」の碑と簡単な歴史が書かれた看板が設置されてます。あと、城とは関係ないですが日露戦争の慰霊碑がありました。おそらく地元の人でも知らないスポットだと思います? 駐車場はありませんが、近くにネカフェの駐車場があるので...? トイレは向かいになぜかあります。ちょと不釣り合いな綺麗なトイレです。近くには桜の名所、五条川があるのでどうせ観光するなら花見シーズンがいいと思います? 夏	夏草や兵どもが夢の跡 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この城址が、信長さんに落城させられた城というのを知り、訪問しました。岩倉城は文明11(1479)年に[尾張伊勢守家]の居城として築かれました。[伊勢守家]は、同じ尾張守護代で清須城にあった[織田大和守家]と対立していました。後に永禄2年(1559)尾張の統一を目指していた織田信長さんの攻撃を受けて落城してしまいました。その時廃城となりました。その後、天正12年(1584)の小牧長久手の戦いにおいて、徳川家康さんがこの岩倉に陣を置きましたが、その時この城に陣を置いた可能性が高いようです。なので、この岩倉城は[家康さんゆかりの城]とも言えます。周りの堀を調べると、主郭部分は、100m四方、外郭を入れれば200mほどある大規模な城だったようです。とても目立たない所にありましたので、一度スルーしてしまいました。駐車場もありません。 I learned that this castle was a castle that was dropped by Nobunaga-san, so I visited it.
