★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family, myself, my pregnant wife and at the time 2 yr old daughter stayed here in 2010 for a few days, when Chinese circus entertainers were the evening show. My daughter learnt to speak bird (""Ka Ka"") talking to the seagulls that come up to the balcony of the room. :-),still joke with her about it. It is in a fabulous location with a gorgeous view of the bay. Food was excellent, onsen and rotenburo were very good. Staff discreet, helpful and friendly. Spacious feeling. Highly recommend a stay. Will go back again. Hope everyone in the area is doing well as they can and recovering (hard to write exactly what I mean )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's OK for a short trip. We stayed only one night in this huge hotel and it was just fine, nothing more. It looks a bit dated, but the rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the open onsen next to the ocean is interesting. If you don't have stay long and don't have high expectations, then you won't be disappointed. ...and I hopefully you can sleep on a futon. ;-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place deserves more attraction! You get to experience the Onsen by the beach, make conversations with the friendly Japanese, wear traditional Yukatas and sleep on the futon. Great service and the food oh my goodness, particularly the seafood, was soooo fresh. We got a good deal for 6 people, and the ride to the ryokan was spectacular because we got to see the sceneric views and countryside of Japan!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the onsen! This was my first experience with onsen overlooking the ocean. I was really impressed with the rotenburo. The atmosphere was overwhelming. An evening walk to the shoutengai (shopping street) in a nearby town ravaged in 2011 Tohoku tsunami was full of overwhelming emotions. The breakfast is amazing and is of buffet style, and the variety is awesome. A shuttle bus from Sendai station is a big bonus, I'm not sure how we would have reached such a remote place otherwise. Suites are overlooking the Pacific ocean with the added bonus of seagulls landing on the balconies in search for food leftovers. A truly unforgettable experience.

The room is bigger than regular hotel.
Big window and pleasant movement.
I saw beautiful sunrise and full moon.
I would love to go back to this onsen very soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully well-maintained hotel with one of the best outdoor hotspring views of the sea. The seagulls lining outside our room window were delightful companions. Hotel provides free shuttle transport both directions from Sendai station but you need to notify them ahead of your stay. Very value for money, especially if you book early.
