南河内の集落までは、だいぶ離れています。
If you go to the back of the school from the national highway, you will arrive immediately, but the entrance is somewhat difficult to understand.
The villages in Minamikawachi are far away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周辺の道が狭く、入るのには少しわかりにくいですが駐車場もあり利用しやすい駅だと思います。ただ錦川清流線自体利用者が少ないのであまり利用されているようには見えません。
それでも駅は綺麗でした。駅からの眺めも良いです。すぐちかくに学校や八幡宮があります。駐輪場もあり、昔はまだ利用者も多かったんだろうな、ということが想像できてよいと思います。水の出ない水飲み場や草間みれのホーム周辺などいいですね。
The surrounding roads are narrow and it is a little difficult to enter, but I think it is an easy-to-use station with a parking lot. However, the Nishikigawa Seiryu Line itself has few users, so it does not seem to be used much.
Still the station was beautiful. The view from the station is also good. There is a school and Hachiman shrine in the immediate vicinity. There is also a bicycle parking lot, so you can imagine that there were still many users in the past. It's nice to have a drinking fountain where water doesn't come out and the area around the Kusama-mire home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cute little station! It’s a nice spot for getting pictures of the cherry blossoms and the yellow flowers (nanohana) that bloom around the same time. There are a couple of fields of them below the station.
If you time it right, you can also get pictures of the little train that stops at the station.
They do have a few parking spaces if you decide to drive there.
