な	なゆ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 八木邸の入館料(ガイドさんの説明つき)＋こちらのお抹茶とお菓子で1000円でした。ほかのレビュー通りこちらの店員さんの態度はそっけないし、良くも悪くも京都らしい感じ。もう少し丁寧でもいいと思います。お抹茶とお菓子はとても美味しかったです。壬生餅お土産に買うか迷いましたが、対応がよくなかったのでやめました。 The admission fee for Yagi House (with explanation by the guide) + 1000 yen for this matcha and sweets. According to other reviews, the clerk's attitude is not so good, and it feels like Kyoto, for better or worse. I think it ’s a little more polite. Matcha and sweets were very delicious. I was wondering whether I would buy it as a souvenir, but I stopped it because it was not good.

n	not so helpful person on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess it's a no-no for a foreigner here, whether you can or cannot speak Japanese. Basically it's a former residence of shinsegumi. The famous serizawa of shinsegumi assassinated here. The entrance fee can be purchased as a tea set of 1000 yen with a Japanese guide. Now the reason of one star is I never came across such rude shopkeepers/ waitress aside of the ones in this place. The man didn't even greet and the woman, my gosh, THE STARE. I first thought there is something wrong with me but from all of the places I've been into and people I've met at the day, she is the only one doing that, and she is not even trying to be nice. I curious about the dorayaki and asking for a box with five of them, but she only give individual dorayaki inside a plastic. Yeah customer service what. In respect to shinsegumi I'm not raisin any fuss, but if you look different than any japanese but wanna pay respect, do that in mibudera, the people are nicer. And also shops around there have a nicer shopkeepers and tastier too so don't bother. You wanna see the scar shinsegumi member make ? Do that in sanjo bridge or the former inn in shimabara. It may have deeper meaning for local residents but trust me it not worth it as long as the shopkeepers are the same.
