 A large-scale manufacturer of Japanese sweets that represents Kyoto. While many companies have their head offices and head offices in prime locations facing the main street, I feel stubbornness and conviction in the fact that the head office is still located in an inconspicuous place on the west side of the former Nijo-dori Shichihonmatsu. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "千寿せんべい"が有名な鼓月さんのお菓子詰め合わせをいただきました。京の離宮、華、黒柿と初めて食べるものばかりでしたが、どれも日本人に生まれて良かった～と思えるような、美しく美味しい和菓子たちでした。千寿せんべいだけじゃないのね、鼓月さんっ！機会があれば、もっともっと色んなお菓子を頂いてみたいお店です。

I got an assortment of sweets from Mr. Kogetsu who is famous for "Senju Senbei". The only things I had eaten were Kyoto's Imperial Palace, Hana, and Black Persimmon, but they were all beautiful and delicious Japanese sweets that made me feel happy that I was born in Japan. Not only Senju Senbei, Kogetsu-san! If you have a chance, this is a shop where you can get more and more sweets.

Senju Senbei and its small version Hime Senju are delicious.

見た感じからもおせんべいというより洋菓子かなと、袋を開けると甘い香りが漂ってきますね。
堅焼きワッフル生地に、シュガークリームを挟んだ品との事。
お店の説明だと、ワッフルの事をヴァッフェルと書かれています。
ヴァッフェルはドイツ語でワッフルの事だそう。
サクッサクの食感の中に、確かにワッフル感を感じますね。
全体的に少し甘みが強め、でも嫌な甘さじゃないですよ。
けど、もし一箱購入したら一気には食べれないかな(笑)
毎日、一袋、そんな食べ方が良さげな品だと思いました。
