Ramen restaurant by ex-French chef. Good quality, but I personally prefer less sophisticated ramen.

Absolutely worth a visit for any Ramen lover; noodle were great, the char siu was tender and the broth very flavoursome.

Had the 途 (Michi) curry ramen and was very filling and delicious. Friendly staff. Went back a second time and had 混ぜ noodles with a curry base soup, was very good.

The highly recommended ramen (香: Kaori) is a mixture between miso-based soup and curry. The soup's fragrance hit you from the first sip with the strong flavor of both miso and curry, super delicious, but impossible for me to finish all. It is served with a poached egg (maybe) and minced pork and chicken. The other ramen is the most famous one 衣利 (Eri), which is a very interesting miso ramen; it is buttery like a French cuisine. The soup is thicker than the first ramen, so I would recommend the first, but if you like the strong flavor, go for the Eri! Additionally, the restaurant is also providing the French course (like serious course) for those who would like to do. There are both noon and evening courses, where prices are differed. This is needed to be reserved.

Ramen Menya-Ichizu The ramen is another new-wave ramen. What makes Menya-Ichize unique is the soup. Its ramen broth is made with “fond de veau” and soy-source by an ex-French chef. The soup's flavor is extra mild, making a difference from even new-wave ramens (very different from traditional ramens!)—strongly recommended for ramen lovers. #tokyo #tokyoramen #tokyofood #tokyogourmet #ramen #musashikoyama

Humanised ramen!! Their ramens have Japanese name, such as “Sachiko” or “Koji”. My Koji at 900 yen was cool and fresh, not manly tastes. Fish based broth and citrus flavour tastes like “Yutori-sedai ”; a Japanese generation group which was taken care of carefully and risk adverse; in other words “bean sprouts ”. Anyway the shop provides ramen and other connotations of items in unique way.

This neighborhood ramen broth is based on French cooking basics of “fond de veau” which is stock or broth extracted from veal bones and and or shanks. The usual ramen “cha siu” is a type of pork roast. However at this restaurant, instead of “cha siu” the pork/chicken is cooked in the French sous vide method of low heat and carefully long cooking time. The resulting taste was okay. I liked it very much at first but then after some time, it gets a little old. The restaurant recommends the creamy curry ramen. We ordered that as well and that was a novelty but still gets a bit old half way through.
