Customers are meditating at the store. The clerk will telepathically ask if you want to add brandy to your coffee. Let's reply telepathically. When you have a conversation, the customers around you will tell you that it is not blurry. Basically let's go alone. Not suitable for families and couples.

It's not a BGM, it's a place where you can listen to great music at a solid volume. I forgot my hat on my way home, but the shop staff chased me a good distance by bicycle and delivered it. thank you for your help. .. There was a word of mouth that the music was stopped and left unattended, but it is probably done in one operation, so it seems that there was such a situation.

It is a traditional masterpiece coffee shop that has been around for a long time. This is said to have been designed to imitate the creation of the Wiener Musikverein, which is familiar at the New Year's Concert. I actually listened to the concert locally, so I see. The unique scent of wood over a long period of time, the creaking of the floor, the dark lights, the occasional choppy records, and so on. About 15 years ago when I first visited, when I got to my seat, the master politely asked me, a little girl with brown hair and jeans, such as "Are there any songs you want to listen to?" Or "Do you use brandy?" He sometimes responded, but have you been your wife for the past few years? Or lady? ?? Perhaps the customer service is polite, but I miss the daytime master. Due to the event held at night, the store closes at 5 or 6 o'clock. It's been about 15 years since I visited some famous music cafes in Tokyo. Meikyoku Kissa has different rules depending on the shop, and there are places where you can talk, but since it is a coffee shop for "listening to classical music", you should refrain from visiting for conversation purposes. The owner's intention is the best, but if there is a customer who stands alone with his eyes closed, let's spend quietly as a manner.

My fav cafe in Tokyo. Great sound, exquisite music, and knowledgeable master. I love the place when it is playing harpsichord pieces. They are using great vacuum tube amps.

Best place in Tokyo. It feels like a warm house with vivid classical music. I’m deeply touched. We appreciate the hospitality and warmth. Thank you from my deepest heart.

This atmosphere is amazing. All the seating faces a wall of old speakers blasting classical music. A great place to sit and ponder life or read. The population is likely to be a handful of old men sipping their coffee while silently listening to the records play. Not a great place to have a conversation, the goal is to enjoy the music. The coffee was weak, so I would recommend the tea. Cash only, no wifi. The little old lady running the place is adorable and very friendly.

It's an incredible place, one of the few survivors of pure "Showa style" café called "Meikyoku kissa" (literally "masterpiece music café") where you can listen to classical music with a great vintage hi-fi stereo set.

A wonderful delight, it felt like I had escaped the craziness of the world and just entered the world of music. I will never forget this experience. You MUST go yourself to experience the magic for yourself. ❤️❤️
