香り立つだし汁や美しい盛り付けもさることながら、各品のボリュームがあり、懐石と銘打ってはいるもののガッツリと食べられます。
お酒の種類も豊富です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最近、新型コロナウイルスが流行中なので、テイクアウトなるものをしてみました。
おあげさん弁当（鯛そぼろ）、豚さん弁当の2種類です。
共通の具材は、ごぼう、椎茸の煮付けと、だし巻き卵です。
ごぼう、椎茸は、甘じょっぱいのに押しが強くない。歯ざわりは非常に柔らかく、私の家ではできないものでした。
一方、だし巻き卵はふわふわっ。非常に上品な味がしました。
豚さん弁当。
味付けがこってりめで、パワーが出そうです。炙った後味が、息をすると鼻に抜けて幸せな気持ちになります。
鯛弁当。
味の緩急があり、いつまでも食べていたい味でした。夏バテで食が細くなった私の口に寄り添ってくれました。
甲乙つけ難いですが、今日はこちらの気分でした。
また頼みに行ってみようと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お昼に3名でお邪魔しました。お座敷からの眺めがよく、夜は夜景が楽しめるそうです。京都の名店で鍛えられたそのお料理は、見た目も美しく、上品で旬の秋刀魚の押し寿司なども取り入れられ、大変美味しかったです。

生まれてはじめて、ふぐを食べました。
自宅で豆腐と細ネギを追加するだけ。
野菜もどっさり。すべて美しく調理されています。
ふぐはたんぱくなお味。皮はトゥルトゥル。骨からホロホロ身をはがせます。
締めのとき卵ご飯。お腹いっぱいなのにスルスルと入り、気づいたら終わっていました。
家族は、普段は腹7分目しか食べられないのに、調子よくお腹いっぱいに食べられました。
鍋が煮えるのも楽しく、贅沢な一時でした。

大将はもう開店して22年になるとか？
ランチだったけれど、何しろ京懐石とやらはほとんど食べたことが無いので、何と言って良いやら上品な味だな位はわかるけれど。
一人で言ったので、当然カウンター。カウンター越しに色々な話をしてくれました。
接客はとても良い感じです。
一度夜に行ってみたいな。
