★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 国道9号線沿いにあります。つい通り過ぎてしまう場所ですが 津和野のなごみの里が混雑している時は良いかも メニューの品数は多くはないですが焼き肉定食が美味しかったです。うどんや蕎麦も美味しいです。お店の人たちも丁寧でやさしいです。

1864年大村益次郎率いる長州軍約1500名が山口を出て、山陰街道を北に進め津和野藩を通り抜けて浜田藩の国境にある扇原関を通過した話が司馬遼太郎の“花神”に描かれている。その大村益次郎が、この峠から津和野を見下ろした頃の風景とあまり変わらないと思うと感慨深い
