It's something you have to try. Probably you'll have to wait for the seats but it worth it. You must try! Wonderful!!!

It was the closest thing to a local pub we found during our visit to Japan, with many customers who appeared to be regulars to the wait staff. Our server was super friendly and the food, which for us was more or less fried veg and meat on sticks, was very tasty. Would return for sure.

Nice homey shitamachi atmosphere, with a tang of charcoal-grilled yakitori My wife and I hadn't been here for a few years, but now are looking to come back regularly. The kamameshi is their signature dish; ours this time was with salmon with a fresh ikura/salmon roe topping that we mixed in.

The staff was super friendly and really made an effort (regretfully, we don't speak Japanese and had to communicate in English). We ordered the menu at JPN 2600 (for me) and separately yakitori, miso soup and the mixed kamameshi (for my spouse). The food was very tasty and we enjoyed every bit of it! Moreover the place is very cozy (note that our clothes were just a little bit smelly from the meat being grilled in the restaurant). We warmly recommend this place!
