★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for kids to run and play has a small zoo. Good walks and during Sakura season is very beautiful. Went there the other day and someone had pet rabbits for the kids to touch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The southern part of the park, which can be quite busy is really nice, not to big. There is also a small animal enclosure, which was to me a bit depressing (in the sense that the enclosures are mostly concrete and small). The northern part was deserted sadly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would recommend tourists to grab a taxi to get here, it's about 2000yen from Matsumoto station. Very cosy park with nice mountain views, a little zoo and lots of paths to walk along. Several food trucks sell food and ice-cream. There are also vending machines with beverages. A few toilets can be found around the park as well. Great place for families, lots of cool playgrounds. The observatory in the museum is free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was here in June 2018. We came on a weekday afternoon and it was quite empty except for some youths. No queue at all for the slider ride.
My kids had so much fun here that 2 hours was barely enough.
Allow yourself half a day at least, bring a picnic basket and let the kids run free.
Amazing public park!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best parks in the Matsumoto area. Kids can play around in the water or climb in the jungle thingies. It has slides, and a great view of the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great park. Many clean bathrooms, awesome roller slides and ropes course. Also a great mountain climbing slide feature. Big mountain slide but on rainy days it's closed.
