Didn't try the stout but all three others were aromatic and with quite a bit more body when compared to other Japanese beers - a great pit stop for craft beer lovers. Matsumoto Brewery certainly love theirs!

The bar tender was very lovely and cheerful, enabling a conversation for all guest at the bar. If you're curious about trying fantastic Japanese beer you should definitely go there. If you can't drink so much, don't worry! You can buy bottled beers as well and take them home or have them send to you.

Everything on tap you can try for free. Downstairs bar filled with locals, upstairs seating area a little bit awkward, but fine. The staff were welcoming and fun.

There is limited space by the bar but more seating on the second floor. A cozy spot to make new friends over some good beer. Another must visit in my books when in Matsumoto.
