★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平将門の妾、桔梗御前を弔った塚。関東各所にあるのでどれが本物かわかりません。塚と大きな木に趣があります。
 A mound that mourns the concubine of Taira no Masakado, Kikyo Gozen. I don't know which one is the real one because it is located in various parts of Kanto. The mounds and big trees have a taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平将門の愛妾、桔梗（ききょう）の塚。桔梗は将門の死後、非業の最期を遂げたとの話があります。この桔梗が最期を遂げたこの原では、その後は秋が来ても、桔梗が花を咲かせることは絶えてなくなったそうです。ただ、茨城県取手市にも桔梗塚があります。

In this field where this bellflower has reached its end, it seems that the bellflower will not always bloom even if autumn comes. However, there is also a bellflower mound in Toride City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 畑の中にポツンと新しめの石碑がありました 近隣の方と話が出来たのですが聞くところによるとNHKの大河ドラマ加藤剛さん主演による風と雲と虹と と言うドラマにあやかって 生前に暮らしゆかりがあった地として供養碑が建てられたものであり没地や墓標ではないらしいですが周囲の草木が風にそよぐ風景は心が和みます 佐倉東小学校の方からですと車でのアプローチは困難ですので北側の道から南下してくるのが良いかと

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平将門の愛妾「桔梗御前」のお墓と云われています。将門の怨霊により、裏切った御前と関連する土地の桔梗は花を咲かせない等の伝承が此処を含め関東各地にあります。
It is said to be the grave of Taira no Masakado's beloved "Kikyou Gozen". There are folklore in various parts of the Kanto region, including here, that the bellflowers of the land related to the betrayed Gozen do not bloom due to the vengeful spirit of Masakado.

将門古墳ともいわれているようです。

存在感がありました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 将門口ノ宮神社にお詣りして、畑の奥に進んでいきました。
『この先、車の通り抜けできません。佐倉市』の道を進んで突き当り右に進むと、左側のはらっぱの中に、ポツンとあります。
車も停められそうな場所は、あります。私は、心配で歩いていきました。
