背後の山から引水しているのだろうか。すくなくともここが湧出点ではないだろう。

でも､由緒ある湧水が残されていることは貴重で有難いですね。

サイクリングの途中などに涼をとらせてもらっています。
以前は武骨な鉄板の蓋でしたが、今は涼し気な竹組の蓋になって風情があります。
普段は飲用不適とのことですが、検査をしていないだけと思われます。
一口飲んでみましたが、クセのない美味しい水でした。
