★ ★ ★ ★ ★ だいたい漫画雑誌を買いました。夕方によく行きましたがレジがすごく並ぶんです。当時はまだ電子マネーの利用は少なくて、ポイントだとかクーポンだとかそんなことで時間がかかっているようでした。でも、政令指定都市の駅隣接大型ショッピングセンターの中なんだから、これくらいの規模の書店がないと恰好つかないし、文具店もあるのが良かったな。手帳や筆記具を買いました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近隣で、というか神奈川県下で文具・書籍の両方を扱っていて此処と同規模の書店は数えるほどしか無いと思います。
個人的にパッと思い浮かぶのは溝の口にある文教堂書店さんの本店くらいでしょうか。
本でも文具でも大抵のものはこちらで見つかるので助かります。
例えばブックカバーで有名な株式会社HSさんのビニールカバーは全種類揃ってます。（たまに「厚大A5」を切らしている時がありますが、注文すれば数日で取り寄せてくれます）
画材も水彩を始めとしてかなり揃えている方だと思います。
ここで無ければ御茶ノ水か銀座の画材屋さんを当たってみることをお勧めします。
筆記用具もメーカーさんの方で力を入れているらしく新製品の展示コーナーがこまめに入れ替わっており、筆記用具を買うつもりが無くても丸善さんを訪問した折に店頭にある展示コーナーの変更の有無を確認がてら見に行くのが習慣になっています。（笑）
駐車場、駐輪場も利用できますので非常に便利です。
ネット書店に押されておりますが、私は可能な限り実店舗で購入する様にしております。
と申しますのも世界的に有名な某外資系ネット書店は日本に殆ど納税していない実態を知ってから買うのをやめました（笑）

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 川崎駅近辺の本屋さん（DICEのTSUTAYA、駅ビル内の有隣堂）の中で1番売場が広く、品揃えが豊富なお店なのではないでしょうか。
単一のショッピングセンターとしては売上日本一のラゾーナ川崎の中にあるということで、お客さんも多く、レジ数も多いですが夕方にもなるとレジ待ちの列ができます。午前中は比較的空いてるようです。
集客力が高いせいか、出版社の営業も力が入っているようで、作家さん直筆の色紙なども多く置いてあり見ていて楽しいです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昨今大きな本屋さんがだんだんなくなりつつありますが、こちらラゾーナ1Fにある丸善さんは貴重な「大きい」本屋さんです。かなり店舗面積が広いです。個人的にはIT系書籍が充実しているかどうかがポイントですが、まあまあ及第点です。最近横浜駅近辺の本屋さんもラインアップが弱いですがこちらはまあまあです。ただ残念なことは非常に店舗の作りが縦細いと言いますか、じっくり本を通路で選べる構造になっておらず、とても落ち着きません。そこが玉にキズです。ちなみにこちら、オライリーの本が比較的充実しており（専用コーナーあり）おすすめできますよ。
