Compared to other sake breweries, it's old-fashioned, but it uses very expensive materials, so I think its financial strength was amazing. However, it was the only place in the area open on a weekend. Turned out the ladies who ran the tasting and sales were so friendly and the nihonshu so good that I bought two bottles plus a persimmon liqueur. Recommended for connoisseurs, not just those looking for tours or anything fancy.
