は	はるのゆいたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長念寺は寒河江八幡宮、本山慈恩寺と並ぶ「寒河江三寺社巡り」の一つに上げられている名刹です。真言宗智山派で最上三十三観音にも指定されており「長岡観音」として親しまれています。また境内には寒河江城主だった大江氏歴代の墓碑もある等寒河江城主の祈願所にもなっていたそうです。境内は広く、バリアフリーの配慮もなされていますが自由に拝観可能です。もちろん本堂内も原則は公開されていて数々の寺宝や文化財を見て回る事が出来ます。東北地方有数の木造五智如来坐像や不動明王坐像など見所が満載の寺院だと思います。 Chonenji is a famous temple that is listed as one of the "Sagae Sanji Shrine Tour" along with Sagae Hachimangu and Motoyama Jionji. It is also designated as the top 33 Kannon in the Shingon sect Chiyama school and is popular as "Nagaoka Kannon". The precincts are large and barrier-free, but you can visit freely. Of course, the principle is open to the public in the main hall, and you can see many temple treasures and cultural properties. I think it is a temple full of highlights such as the sitting statue of Gochi Nyorai, one of the best wooden statues in the Tohoku region, and the sitting statue of Fudo Myoo.
