There is no need to use the foot onsen on a warm or hot day. The water just makes you hotter! However, the rest of the park is highly recommended on warm or hot days for the small waterfalls and walk through the forest. It's worth a trip cuz it's free. I recommend walking along Chitose river from Yugawara station to get there. About 30-40 minutes.

Great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. It’s a 5 min walk through a pretty park with a stream and waterfall. Entry is ¥300. Coin locker is ¥100 but you get it back once you return the key- slippers provided. There were 8-10 different foot baths with different temperatures and textures.

If u happen to be a tourist around Tokyo, and have time to kill, go book urself an onsen resort in Yugawara. U can get there via Tokaido Line. Once in Yugawara, by city bus, u can get around different places, including Yugawaramanyo park. Yugawaramanyo Park is filled with various sites to see. Natural life, forest, waterfall, etc... U might even get to see fireflies if come at the right season. There's is also a cute little Tanuki shrine (with a touching story if can read Japanese). Closeby is a foot onsen (300yen per person) if u like some relaxation too. Highly recommended if u like nature. Park is free to enter, but surround site may need to pay, such as foot onsen.

This place recently had a renewal, so I was excited to see what it was like. What a shock! Before, this was a place which I thought really defined Yugawara as a hot spring place, relaxing, friendly and laid back. A lovely distinctive hot spring place with about 12 different foot hot springs at the end of a beautiful path along the river, which were cheap and available for everyone and Yugawara residents got discounts. Now, the wooded path leading to the hot spring is still beautiful, but the foot hot spring is gone, replaced by a soulless and very expensive hot spring and a trendy and soulless relaxation place. It's completely unoriginal and detracts from the uniqueness and welcoming feeling of the town. Yugawara has gone down a lot in my estimation because of this wrong headed decision to sterilise the uniqueness of this location. If you're thinking of coming here, maybe you should go to Atami, or Izunokuni instead. Very disappointing.

Footspas were pretty good and the scenery walking through the park along the river is quite beautiful. Downside is the horrible plastic sandals you have to wear to use the spas, other than that the variety of spas with different tiles to stimulate, sooth or punish your feet in each of the seven separate baths was excruciatingly pleasant. ?

Nice and calming park with long riverside road. There are many hotels around so you may drop in here if you stay and have time to kill.
