★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ＃磐座 鍵懸の関跡 山梨市牧丘町牧平 礎石４個 古くから雁坂口から甲府に至る秩父裏街道（甲府積翠寺～太良峠～切差～古峠～赤芝（鍵懸の関）～膝立～雁坂）として整備された関所で、後の武田家の北方防衛の要として機能しました。
関には、当時からの礎石４個に平成三年に復元された冠門、馬頭観音や石仏群が残される。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秩父裏街道の要所とされた関所です。雁坂口より秩父栃本に通ずる街道は秩父街道といわれました。赤芝より太良ヶ峠を越え古府中躑躅ケ崎の武田館に至る街道が秩父裏街道で、武田信玄の時代には軍事上の秘密道路とされたため、この地に関所が置かれたといわれています。
また、江戸時代に入ってからは、西保一帯は用材の宝庫であったため、幕府の御用林保護のためにも重要な意味をもっていました。

It is a barrier that has been regarded as a key point on the Chichibu Ura Kaido. The road leading from Goose Sakaguchi to Chichibu Tochimoto was called the Chichibu Highway. It is said that the Sekisho was set up in this area because the road from Akashiba to the Takedakan in Kofuchu-gasaki, which crosses the Taraga Pass, is the Chichibu Ura Kaido, which was considered a secret military road during the Takeda Shingen era.
In addition, since the beginning of the Edo period, the Nishiho area has been a treasure trove of lumber, so it was important for the protection of the forests of the Shogunate.
