牧野古墳は直径約50mの円墳、築造時期は古墳時代後期末、巨大な横穴式石室を持つことで有名。国の史跡に指定されている。
古墳は頂上まで登ることができ、横穴式石室は柵越しに内部を見ることができる。
Makino Kofun is maintained and opened as a park.
Makino burial mound is about 50m in diameter, and is famous for having a huge side hole stone chamber at the end of the burial period. It is designated as a national historic site.
The burial mound can be climbed to the top, and the side hole type stone chamber can be seen through the fence.
