奥を探索したら司が有ります。
 I walked from Mabuchi. There is no parking lot.

美乃坂本から中津川、落合、落合と歩き、
十曲峠の石畳を越えたら、馬籠宿。
馬籠までそんな離れていないところに
馬籠城はありました。
街道が交わるようなポイントでもなく、
河川の船溜まりがあるわけでなく、
正直、“なぜこんなところに？”と。
戦国時代はまた周囲の環境が
違ったのかもしれませんけど。
規模も城の範囲がよくわからないので、
なんともいえませんが、
そんなに大きな感じがしません。
それでも当時の雰囲気を再現してくれたら、
馬籠宿からの近さもあいまって、
それはそれは観光名所になりそうですけどね。

飲食店やお土産屋さんも豊富で御手洗いもきれいでした。また展望台からの恵那山や景色も雄大でした。
It was a lively Magome-juku full of emotion.
There were plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops, and the restrooms were beautiful. Ena and the scenery from the observatory were also magnificent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 武田氏滅亡後、織田信長の時代を経て豊臣秀吉傘下の木曽義昌が治めていました。
関ヶ原の戦い後、徳川家康は木曽を直轄地としていたが、1615年に尾州徳川藩の領地としました。その後、戦火はありませんでしたが姿を消すことになりました。
現在は案内板が設置されているだけで、当時の遺構を確認できませんでした。看板の裏側が竹薮になっているので、そちら側なら何か見つけれたかもしれません。
馬籠宿が近くにあるので、一般の観光客はあまり城跡の方には来られないので、のんびり散歩できて良いです‼️
正岡子規の句の石碑や神社、石畳などの見所もあります?
民家もあるので静かに観光しましょうね！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did not really see the castle (ruin) but took the walk from Magome to Tsumago, which is the preferred direction. This is a fun walk on a clear day, or even on a rainy day, like ours.
