I walked from Mabuchi. There is no parking lot. If you explore the back there is a priest.

● Does it feel like a fort in terms of location? From Minosakamoto, walk to Nakatsugawa, Ochiai, Ochiai, After crossing the cobblestones of the Tokuma Pass, Magome-juku. Not far from Magome There was Magome Castle. It is not the point where the highways intersect, There is no pool of rivers, To be honest, "Why are you here?" In the Warring States period, the surrounding environment was It may have been different. As the scale and range of the castle are unknown, I can not say anything, It doesn't feel that big. Still, if you reproduce the atmosphere of that time, Combined with the proximity from Magome-juku, It seems that it will be a tourist attraction.

Along the Nakasendo Road from Magome-juku to Ochiai-juku, there was a small house on the south side of the Magome village, next to a private house.

It was a lively Magome-juku full of emotion. There were plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops, and the restrooms were beautiful. Ena and the scenery from the observatory were also magnificent.

After the death of Mr. Takeda, Yoshimasa Kiso, a member of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, reigned after the days of Nobunaga Oda. After the Battle of Sekigahara, Tokugawa Ieyasu had Kiso as the direct territory, but in 1615 it became the territory of the Tokugawa domain of Bishu. After that, there was no war, but it disappeared. Currently, only the information board is installed, and the remains of that time could not be confirmed. There is a bamboo bush on the back of the sign, so you might have found something on that side. Since Magome-juku is nearby, so many tourists can't come to the ruins of the castle, so you can take a leisurely walk! ️ There are also attractions such as Shiki Masaoka's phrase stone monument, shrines and stone pavements ? There are also private houses, so let's go sightseeing quietly!

Walked past and didn't notice the castle. Magome is excellent though and well worth making the effort to visit.

We did not really see the castle (ruin) but took the walk from Magome to Tsumago, which is the preferred direction. This is a fun walk on a clear day, or even on a rainy day, like ours.
