★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There really isn't much to do there but there's a nice view. I came right after a typhoon and it was raining a little bit so the view wasn't as great. I'm sure during fall when the leaves change color, it would be much much prettier. There's a bathroom near the main parking lot that's closest to the ruins. There are volunteer guides but I don't know the process of getting them. If you go really fast, you can see every area in less than 30 minutes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location, 432 metres high overlooking the Kiso river and the cities of Nakatsugawa and Ena. The autumn colours this time of year made for a better view than previous times I have visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here twice now, we walked from Nakatsugawa Station - a fair walk but pretty beautiful... walked along the river to a path up the back of the mountain, a fair climb up but great exercise :) the place itself has GORGEOUS views towards Nakatsugawa and the surrounding peaks. I'm sure there are bus services to the peak if you're not up for the walk and climb, either way i love this lookout!
