★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy place and great hospitality! Place is clean and well managed. We ordered some food for dinner and they were splendid. Near to the ski place, only 3 mins walk. Would totally recommend this place for families/couples. Thank you Mark & Mayuko-san!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent four great days with Mark and Mayuko (Abbie) in early February. The lodge is super close to the hill and has good clean facilities, though the best feature is the convenience of Abbie’s kitchen menu. A great mix of Japanese and western, right there in the lodge, super convenient (read easy) after a hard day on the hill. I mainly stuck to the Japanese, I mean you are in...This is further augmented my Mark’s well stocked bar, complete with a range of great Japanese craft beers, delicious sake and Australian wine, dangerously handy. They even sorted out a car to our next location in Nozawa, which was a great help. The drying room comes with a built in assistant in too 8)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great relaxed little lodge. The owner operators are a family so there is a great family feel to the place. Definitely child friendly. Super well located with the ski slopes just a 2 minute walk away. Excellent restaurant and a small bar. Rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. I stayed in a western style room (I'm Australian) but they have some Japanese style rooms too. I'll be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbie chan and Mark are excellent hosts. The place is cozy and is walkable distance from the slopes. Place has a homey vibe. Their daughter, Hannah is friendly and entertaining, too.
They have a restaurant too wherein you can unwind after a day of skiing with food and drinks.They also serve excellent free breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here. ???
