My friends and I visited 2018 new opening shopping mall- Hibiya Midtown and accidentally went into the restaurant Lubina. We ordered sea urchin pudding and foiegras as our appetizer. Both of them were so delicious and melting in my mouth. Although I usually don't eat raw seafood at all, I have to say the sea urchin I tasted in Lubina is fabulous and so tasty that I didn't feel fishy! Regarding foiegras, the sweet sauce made me felt not too oily and I really like it! In addition, we tried 2 kinds of paella ;1 with seafood and the other with cuttlefish ink. The taste so great and the balance between seafood/cuttlefish and rice was controlled very good that we finished these 2 large plate of food with a pleasant aftertaste. I personally ordered 1 signature gin tonic called fennel which was combined with absinthe and strawberry syrup, and I thing it's a good try for female. Lubina gave my friends and I a wonderful night. The waiter is very friendly and does speak English that really helps a lot. I think we will definitely visit the place many times thereafter.

Lubina is a modern Spanish restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the Tokyo Midtown Hibiya building. The food, wine, and cocktails we had here were all fantastic. The service was friendly and menus were provided in both Japanese and English. We tried a few items from the tapas menu including the Uni (sea urchin) pudding and a potato salad topped with squid and paprika (which was so incredibly good!) The squid ink paella and seafood paella were also fantastic. The dishes were well prepared, the taste was good, and the presentation was beautiful. Lubina has a great cocktail program. They make several classic Spanish cocktails such as the Bamboo and CLara de Limon, as well as a number of their own original cocktails and Sangria.I tried the Red Sangria which was served with a cinnamon stick that had been torched at the end which added a bit of smokiness. This was a really cool presentation; it looked a bit like a lit cigar! When you visit, don’t forget to order a plate (or five) of churros for dessert. Served with a caramel sauce and sprigs of fresh mint, these were the perfect ending to a great dinner in Ginza.

Delicious Spanish Food Recently I visited this restaurant with some friends for dinner, the ambiance was captivating, the waiters were kind and they gave us detailed information about every dish in English and Japanese. For starter, we ate "sea urchin pudding" and some tapas, the presentation of both was very elegant. The taste of sea urchin was fresh and delicate, it reminds me of the seafood from home, and the tapas were crusty with a delicious taste of the oven-baked scallops. Then, we tried "Galician style octopus" and "Iberico Jamon" for sharing, the octopus had a herbal taste I could taste the paprika and herbs on it, its texture was tender just perfect to chew it, in the case of Iberico Jamon was perfect. For the main course, we tried three different types of paellas: Arroz Catalana, Arroz con pato, and Mariscos. Arroz Catalana has squid with black ink, shrimp, and garlic, it was something new for me but I was gladly surprised for the taste of the squids as it was really zesty. Arroz con pato dazzle my eyes as it was riveting, the duck was tasty with earthy flavor porcini, the rice was creamy and savory. Mariscos was a classy paella that it tastes like a real paella, it has red shrimps, clams and mussel. The taste was fresh and the texture gooey, the taste reminds me of family weekends at the beach. For dessert, we have sweet churros with cinnamon, they were very syrupy, juicy and yummy. In addition, they have a vast selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, I drank red sangria and I have to say that the cinnamon was a great choice, the taste was sweet, refreshing and fruity. This is a perfect place for a casual date, business meeting, and friends reunion.

A very nice dinner with friends, enough of us that we could sample most of the dishes. The food was a nice mix of traditional Spanish fare (raw ham, Gallician-style octopus, paella...) and some more modern/fusion dishes, like the tapas or the chocolate churros we finished with. The squid-ink paella was my favourite, but pretty much every dish worked for me. We had very satisfying cava (sparkling wine) for most of the meal, but the rest of the wine list was pretty impressive as well - both the reds and the whites. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere, suitable both for dates or dinners with friends/colleagues; service was excellent and available in both Japanese and English. Warmly recommended if you're in the mood for Spanish food and/or if you're having dinner with a wine connoisseur!

This is the real deal. My experience in Lubania was excellent, I was very satisfied with all the dishes and the service was 5 stars.  The scallop that I ate in my appetizer "tapa" was one of the softest I've ever had.  The non-alcoholic white wine that I order with my meal is a must.  The selection of beverages is wide and I loved the fact that they have so many options for people who consume alcohol and also for those who do not (the '' Coco '' mocktail is very refreshing, highly recommended).  We tried different paellas and they were all very tasty, but the black ink paella caught my attention because I have not seen it in other Spanish food restaurants and the flavor was very tasty and unique. The duck paella was from another world, the meat was tender and the seasoning of the rice was on point.  the crispy chocolate churros with caramel sauce were the perfect way to end our dinner, everything was really yummi and with the flavor of authentic spanish food.  Extra points for the decoration of the restaurant and the illumination, you can easily go for a romantic date or with your family and share a paella since these are really big. Excellent service from the staff and our waiter, I will return for sure.

I have to say, this is the best Mediterranean restaurant I have ever had. Impeccable, from atmosphere to dishes. Especially the most still one to sea urchin. gave me a deep impression. The taste is smooth and delicious. Make me want to stop. It makes me want to swallow all of it in one sip, but can't bear to eat it all at once. Just want to slowly and taste it bit by bit. There is also seafood risotto. Both look and taste are excellent. Of course, the service is impeccable. The waiter's etiquette is very elegant. There are some needs, even if you don't say, they will do their best for you. My favorite is the little candle on the table. Set the atmosphere right. It won't make you feel the lights are too dim and you can't see the dishes clearly. It won't make you feel too bright, as if everything is displayed in front of the person you are dining with. There are all kinds of wine here. No matter what you want to eat, there is a good wine to choose from. I have to say that the atmosphere and dishes here are suitable for business dining. Or bring your beloved girl to enjoy.

“Amazing Squid ink Paella” I went to Lubina for a Spanish dinner with a group of friends. We had a course meal with a starter of the uni(sea urchin) pudding and some tapas, a main of three types of paella: squid ink paella, sea food paella and duck paella, all of them incredibly delicious! My personal favorite was the squid ink paella. Totally recommend it. The dessert was churros dipped in salty caramel sauce another personal favorite. All the meals had a fantastic presentation. For drinks I had a sparkling wine with the meal and after dinner, I enjoyed a craft beer. (The beer options are limited but worth your time, if you are a beer person) Lubina has a great ambiance, easy to access from Hibiya station (exit A11 opens to Midtown Hibiya). The menu was both in English and Japanese. The service was friendly, with staff offering suggestions and extra explanation on the menu options. I do recommend it for a casual dinner for small or mid-size group or a dinner date, followed by a walk in Hibiya park close by.

Decent Spanish restaurant on the second floor of Hibiya Midtown. Great decor, friendly staff but prices are high for the portion size (given it's in Ginza). The paella and tapas entrees were pretty good.
