★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the oldest theatre in Japan at 400 years old. Not a large theatre never the less beautiful and comfortable to be in.
Narrow corridors surround the auditorium and the staff are very good at helping you find your seat.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Miyako Odori was excellent on this stage!!! It was beautifully done. We loved the gorgeous, spacious theater. Of course you aren't allowed to take photos during the performance, but we took a few of the theatre itself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This theater is fantastic. They offered audio boxes that provide english narration, though I chose to not rent one. The inside was built so well. Three floors of seating, reasonable price points for the different selections. It seems to be able to accomadate many different sets and productions, with the third act of my Kabuki show having a working waterfall on stage. They also have handicap access and concessions. Smokimg rooms and bathrooms on each floor it seems. My only gripe was leg room but it wasn't built with me in mind so I understand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience! My husband and I aren't fluent in Japanese yet, but still had an amazing time watching December's performance. The actors, sets, music, and costumes, were all amazing! The front office staff was very kind and helpful. They suggested the best seats for us.
If you are over 5'8" and sitting in the balcony seats I recommend buying aisle seats as our legs just fit into our allotted area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw the Geisha performance here and it was very nice and clean. Biggest thing I can say about the establishment is 2nd floor center row are the seats you want, i missed 30% of the performance from my vantage point from the posted picture.
