寄附によって造られました
事の起こりは創業者のお子さんがアメリカ
留学中に事故で亡くなられ野球好きだった
彼の 球場を造ると言う夢 を叶えてあげるために実現されたと聞いています
夢が叶えられると言う事は両かたさんに
とって嬉しい事でしょうね

子供たちの声が響き渡る”時”が来ることを願うばかりです。
2017年に電光掲示板に改修されたた京丹後夢球場。地元の市民は願うばかりでしょう。

「峰山球場は、京丹後市名誉市民である韓昌祐氏が、事故で亡くされたご子息・哲さんが小学校3年生の時に書いた作文「ぼくのゆめ」に綴られた「町営グラウンドをつくりたい」という思いを実現させた球場である。
甲子園出場、プロ野球選手など、子どもたちの夢を支える球場である。」
