創建は昭和63年（1988）7月27日と伝えられていますが、昭和12年（1937）に三輪山の神意を奉斎し、昭和の三輪明神として崇敬されています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 平城京大極殿から北へ向かい近鉄の線路を超えてから１㎞くらい歌姫街道を走ると、右手にローソンがあり左手に「鏡玉神社」の看板が見える。
看板を左折したらすぐの所にこの神社はあった。ただ、表からは鳥居などが見えないので行き過ぎてしまう。車はおけない。
2021/10/11に訪問した際は、門扉が開いていて、境内を手入れされている方が居られたので存分に参拝できた。
全体的に新しい感じの神社で、境内には玉砂利が敷き詰めてあり、爪先立って歩くことになる。

御祭神 ：倭大物主槿御大神（やまとおおものぬし）
当社の御神体は、三種の神器の 別御魂を迎え祀られております。
昭和六十三年 七月二七日 鎮座。
力強く立上られた鏡玉大神。
そして昭和の三輪明神として、新たなる 御神名 倭大物主翼御鏡大神様 神名を頂かれた。
Head north from Heijokyo Daigokuden, cross the Kintetsu railroad track, and drive along the Diva Highway for about 1 km. You will see Lawson on your right and the Kyogyoku Shrine sign on your left.
This shrine was right after turning left at the signboard. However, I can't see the torii gate from the front, so I go too far. I can't leave a car.
When I visited on 10/11/2021, the gate was open and there was a person who was maintaining the precincts, so I was able to fully worship.
It's a shrine with a new feel overall, and the precincts are covered with ball gravel, so you'll be walking with your toenails.
