Sooooo delicious. The miso tsukemen was so rich and creamy and misoy. Truly delicious tsukemen. There is very little space and you may have to queue. Also had the spicy tsukemen but the miso was so so much better. Recommended for everyone but only 1 at a time cos it's so tiny. Or some may say exclusive

It's one of those small ramen houses that's off the beaten path. And, usually these small joints really kick up the quality of their dishes. Not that the main road restos aren't up to snuff. Everything and everywhere is good to eat in Japan anyway. Having said that, if you're a ramen buff, try this place out. No regrets. ???

the shop is really tiny and cramped, but the noodles make it all worthwhile! absolutely delicious. english menu is only outside the shop. for the same price, if you get a small portion of noodles instead of regular, you will get an egg topping. picture shown is regular portion. you can choose between warm and cold noodles, and chef recommended cold. noodles are al dente, broth is flavourful. when you finish your noodles, you can hand the bowl to him and ask for soup, and he will add a lighter stock to it to dilute it so that you can drink it straight.

It's a very tiny little shop with only 8 seatings tucked in an alley. It's a bit hard to find. They have several ramen dishes but I went for the spicy cold dipping noodle. It was amazing!! I was very satisfied

It is a small place and you may have to wait to eat, but the wait is worth it !! the food is incredibly good, the tantanmen my favorite and the tsukene is amazing too. It's so good that I ended up going two days in a row. prices are quite consistent, around 800 to 900 a bowl of soup with noodles

The best ramen and tsukemen we have had in Japan. Broth was very heavy and I felt very guilty and dirty slurping it all but it was worth it. One Japanese guy even asked for an extra bowl of broth just to drink lol. There is only enough space for about 6-7 people but we like that. Felt very local and cozy. 10/10 would visit again We had no problem with the staff despite not speaking any Japanese. Those who complained about the size of the store and the attitude of staff should go dine at 5-star restaurants to get pampered instead and skip out on authentic local Japanese food.

Hubby’s “life changing” ramen of all time. So good we came back to Kyoto within a year to have it again! Small 8 seater place, though queue isn’t too bad, up to 15 min when it’s busy. Try the tan tan - creamy sesame flavour, super delicious. Noodles are the best - thick and firm texture. So yum

Creamy and sweet tantamen is so yummy. Its not really salty but made me thirsty a.f. i gave it 4 stars since the restaurant is so small and tight. If you are tall and big, it may be uncomfortable becuz there no room to place your legs. Staff can speak english.you can choose the spicy level. Regular,. Small and large size are the price. There are just few small pieces of meat in the soup so I would recommend to order extra charsiu
